As I continued to further my knowledge and educate myself about angels and develop my psychic ability, my husband bought me a pack of angel oracle cards by Doreen Virtue as a Christmas present. I had never considered purchasing oracle cards before, but my husband felt that I would like them.
As it happens I felt an instant connection with them, as if their power was radiating out to me. They became and still are very precious to me. I only used the cards on my family at first, and was amazed at all the loving messages I received, without needing to refer to the guide book. Since then, I’ve now acquired several different packs that I use for my readings.
The messages that I do receive while reading the cards are voices that whisper to me, and I feel strong energies; but sometimes I am shown vivid pictures to help me deliver what the angels want me to say. I am still in awe where these messages come from and how I know such things. After all, I am just an ordinary housewife and Mum.
Each card tells a different message every time, as the cards are a powerful tool which act as a guide to help me depict the message I am receiving. The messages I receive are always filled with love. They are usually messages showing the various paths that life usually offers. Everyone has free will, so my readings are there to enable the listener to look at their life in a different way, advising perhaps, on how to move forward to receive the peace and joy that they deserve.
It is through the angels and my guides that I receive these messages, but sometimes beloved spirits of those whose reading I am doing will come with their own specific message. This can be emotional for the person having their cards read and for the spirit, but this usually brings a lot of spiritual healing, leaving a feeling of comfort and peacefulness. Most people feel good about themselves after an angel card reading.
Everyone is created with their special gift, their own bright light within them. It was only after receiving the precious diamond at that spiritual meeting in my village hall, that I realised that I had such a light within me. It gave me the confidence and inspiration to believe, that I had the ability to make people feel good about themselves.
I had always lacked confidence, and I had a low self esteem, always thinking that others were better than me. As a child I was quiet and shy, and rarely had anyone other than my parents encouraging me to do the things I was passionate about.
I had a lovely child hood, full of love and was supported in my career choice of nursing, although sometimes I felt the strong emotions I had growing up were never fully understood or that I was ever really listened too. I was classed as an awkward teenager, so I suppose talking to me was hard then, and I did not really understand myself to let anyone help me.
I was bullied by one of my nursing tutors when training to be a nurse as he insisted I was not suitable to be a nurse and gave me bad results and poor reports. However, I was fortunate to have another tutor who did believe in me and through his encouragement and support and my own determination, I proved him wrong. It was not a nice time for me, as I thought it was my own fault, and I did not recognise it as bullying, until a few years later after qualifying, when I happened to run into some of my fellow students from the same course, who told me how he had fabricated untruths about me, trying to involve others with his lies. Apparently he was a manipulative man who had bullied many young student nurses, generally the quiet ones, causing many of them to leave. I realised it was not me but it was him with the problem and I felt proud that I did not let him get the better of me, although he did set me back in my career, displacing me onto a nursing course with a lower qualification. Although I didn’t know it at that time, on reflection, I’m sure that my guardian angels helped me through this difficult period as well.
I have been nursing successfully for over 30 years now, and I am passionate about caring for my patients and always give my best. I used to worry that I was not as good as my colleagues, until I received that diamond. It must radiate from me and enhance my own light inside me, as people who come in contact with me seem to be warmed and touched by me instantly. I feel the respect my colleagues, managers, or anyone I meet have for me, and I instinctively know patients and their relatives who I am caring for, feel safe and comfortable in my care.
I am particularly good at caring for patients who are dying, providing the comfort they need in their final days. I also seem to have the ability to support the relatives when their beloved ones are dying, and to assist to ease the pain of their grieving. Many experienced nurses often find these skills and abilities difficult to master.
I still worry and sometimes doubt these feelings and my abilities, and I do not like being too boastful or over confident. My angels keep reminding me as they help me say the right things to people at the right times, and in return they let me hear the occasional compliment from those around me, giving me a warm and reassuring little boost.
I value and respect my colleagues, appreciating their special gifts which makes us a caring team, but I now know that I am worthy and part of that team.
I believe everything in life happens for a reason and all my past experiences has helped me work towards my purpose in life. I am a good caring nurse and I have the patience, empathy and understanding to mentor nurses for our future because of my own experience.
Now I am ready to progress and share my spiritual gift for my next purpose in life.
Since receiving the diamond, my spiritual ability started to grow and develop. Initially, my eldest daughter encouraged me to do angel card readings for some of her friends, which proved to be inspiring experiences for both them and me. Every reading is different, but the wonderment of each is divine and magical. I cannot describe or explain it. My confidence grew with every reading as I received good feedback, and this continued even when she went away to university, as she occasionally asked for a reading via skype for both her and her friends. During her gap year she went to America to work, and it wasn’t long before I was doing readings for her American friends as well. The results were amazing. I had never met any of these people nor did I know anything about them, but I recall one particular reading for a young girl in America, whose grandfather appeared with a message.
Apparently he had recently passed away and the poor girl was full of sadness because she had not been at home in England to say her goodbyes. He wanted her to know that he loved her very much and that he would always be with her. The young girl felt a lot of peace and comfort from hearing this.
These readings have proved to me that I am chosen to be a light worker for the angels to deliver their loving messages to those who want to hear them. I believe that those who come to me are meant to hear their messages. I am not here to preach or bestow my beliefs upon anyone. The angels want me to let people know that they are never alone, no matter how hard life may seem at times. There is a lot of bad things happening in the world and life can be stressful, so more and more light workers, like me, are coming out of the shadows to try and bring comfort, joy and peace to the world. Through my angel card readings, I know I help people feel good about themselves, help them find their inner light so that it shines, and let them know that they are loved and cherished for being who they are.
As I continue to grow and develop this spiritual gift I would like to thank my wonderful husband Peter, beautiful daughters Claire and Laura, and my very good friend Val for all their encouragement and support, for without them I would not have the confidence to believe in myself. I must also be thankful for the diamond within and for being given such a gift from my angels.
